We walked into the doctor's office at 6:28 this morning, already third in line. Despite a short and groggy wait, we got good news:
el marisco is 10 millimeters long, right on track for 7 weeks 1 day. We also saw the heartbeat for the first time.
Happy times!
It is so magical how one day there is no heartbeat, and the next there is. How does that happen!? Amazing. So happy for you two. What is a marisco?
ReplyDeleteTranslates as "invertibrate seafood," but I'm using it to mean "shrimp". I'd probably be better off using "camaron" or "langostino," but I like the ring of marisco.
ReplyDeleteAnd that about exhausts my knowledge of Spanish.
Ohhh, our cute little invertibrate seafood!! Yeah, I see what you're saying...we're better off using ANY one of the other three! ;) ...or our little Paquito or Paquita!! AHHHHH!!! So cool!!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so exciting! What a splendid little marisco your Paquito/Paquita will be! We love him/her already...so adorable, even at 10 mm...& growing! ~*~Rhonda & Mike~*~
ReplyDeleteWHEEEEE!!!!! it looks like el marisco has a vaguely skull shape growing, so that's good! it has a head!
ReplyDeleteVERY excited for you two!
love love love,
